SCHSS offers preventative education and health promotion themes including; diabetes, arthritis, food safety, heart smart, Alzheimer disease, etc. 

SCHSS promotes health care through; counselling, workshops, community and school awareness campaigns including HIV/STDs, hearing and eyesight screening, nutrition, dental care, etc. 

Through education, research and advocacy, members work together to create an environment for Aboriginal communities to achieve the vision of holistic well being.
